CCE Superior Rebated Drop Down Seal - 830mm

The CCE Superior Drop Down Door Seal is designed to form an effective barrier against fire and smoke, which is activated by the closing action of the door, meaning the seal only drops down when the door is closed.

This high-performing drop down seal is Certifire approved, with a 120 minute fire resistance rating.

Available in a range of sizes.

Fixing screws are supplied.

Description

The CCE Superior Drop Down Door Seal is designed to form an effective barrier against fire and smoke which is activated by the closing action of the door, meaning the seal only drops down when the door is closed.

The seals are available in a variety of lengths and are supplied complete with screws to ensure quick and easy fitting.

Acoustically tested achieving up to 48dB Rw
Smoke tested to BS EN 1634-3: 2004
Suitable for timber doors
Self-extinguishing therm type high quality co-extruded seal
17mm maximum drop
Endurance tested to 200,000 cycles

Location

Single swing doors.
For use on both right and left handed doors.

Min/max gap size

1mm/17mm.

Standard lengths

330mm, 430mm, 530mm, 630mm, 730mm, 830mm, 930mm, 1030mm, 1130mm and 1230mm.
Note: Each length can be cut down by 150mm.
The 330mm can be cut back to 280mm, and the 430mm to 295mm.

Fixing

Fixing screws are supplied. This seal is mortised.

Adjustment

Self-levelling on uneven surfaces. Can be adjusted independently of the fixing screws.

Can this be used with a sliding/pocket door, would it be too difficult to overcome the mechanism when closing the door?

The CCE SUperior has no test data for sliding doors.

You would need to look at the Lorient LAS8001M which has test details for timbre sliding doors, pelase email us for futher details.

What size of groove depth and width in the door is required to fit this CCE SUPERIOR REBATED DROP DOWN SEAL – 830MM?

The rebate required is 35mm(h) and 14mm(w), details can be located in the datasheet on the download tab.
