Pyroplex Intumescent Pipe Collar - 110mm 2hr

Pyroplex® CE Marked 200 Series Pipe Collars have been specifically designed to reinstate the fire resistance walls or floors which have been penetrated by plastic flammable pipes used in soil, waste and drainage services.

This seal will close flammable pipes that are 110mm in diameter for up to 120 minutes, and can be face fixed to a wall or ceiling structure.

Suitable for use on concrete and masonry partitions.

4 hour pipe collars are also available.

Field of application

Pyroplex® Intumescent Pipe Collars have been specifically designed to prevent the passage of fire and hot gases through:

Concrete and masonry partitions
Concrete floor constructions
Soil, waste and drainage ‘above ground’ applications

Any residual gaps between the collar and the substrate can be filled using Pyroplex® Intumescent Acrylic Sealant.

Galvanised steel outer casing
Tab closing device means the intumescent collars are easy to fix in place around pipe and rotate or slide into position

If mounting something infront of the collar, what would be the minimum safe mounting distance from the collar so to not interfere with the collar?

Coudl you send and email to [email protected] with the details of what you are planning to mount in front of the collar?

Hi, What is the material of casing? And is there any certificate to show if the intumescent material inside the collar is non- toxic, asbestos/ halogen free and robust? Thanks.

The casing is made of steel and all details re the materials can be located in the Download Tab on the product page in the Data Sheet and Certification CF 635.

Can these collars be fitted on the top of the concrete slab, instead of high level underneath?

I would need to direct you t the datasheet under the download tab on the product page as this will provide the installation details for which there is test evidence.
