Threshold Plates

Threshold plates are metal plates that are placed over a door threshold. The threshold plate provides a smooth surface for the door to close against and cover the join gap between different flooring materials.

FireSealsDirect stocks the most trusted door threshold plates available in the market. Our threshold plates are made with one of the most durable metals, aluminium, which protects against draught, light, sound, insects and smoke.

The products we stock are carefully designed to provide a smoke barrier between the door and the frame. FireSealsDirect’s threshold plates are useful for environments with wheeled traffic and wheelchair use. They are also often used alongside drop down seals to provide a smooth, reliable contact surface and improve sealing performance at the base of the door.

Installing a door threshold plate is generally a simple process, but we recommend consulting with a professional before attempting to do it yourself.
