Description

The FIREFLY® 25x25mm Clamping Angle is a 0.7mm gauge galvanized steel angle used to securely clamp the perimeter of FIREFLY® flexible fire barriers against the supporting framework, creating a smoke and flame-tight seal.

The fire certification of any fire barrier system is dependent on using the correct, tested components. This clamping angle is the exact component specified and used during the rigorous BS 476 fire tests for the FIREFLY® range. While generic angles exist, using them will invalidate the system's certification. By using the official FIREFLY® clamping angle, you ensure the barrier is adequately compressed and retained, preventing tearing around fixings under fire load.

Engineered from 0.7mm gauge steel, this angle is designed to distribute the load of the fixings evenly across the barrier material. It is supplied in convenient 1.2m lengths, making it far easier to transport and install in the often awkward and confined spaces where fire barriers are required.
