Orange 240 Intumescent Acrylic Sealant - 310ml

Orange 240 is a halogen-free intumescent acrylic sealant designed to provide an impenetrable barrier against fire, smoke, and sound in construction joints and service penetrations. It is specifically engineered to seal fire door perimeters and low-movement joints, ensuring reliable containment while allowing for a neat, paintable finish.

This sealant is extensively tested to BS EN 1366 Parts 3 & 4 and BS 476 Parts 20 and 22 for ultimate fire barrier reliability. For doorsets, it fully complies with BS EN 1634-1 when sealing gaps up to 15mm wide, and offers exceptional acoustic properties tested to BS EN ISO 10140-2:2010.

When installing around a fire door, the frame must be packed into position using Blue 60 Fire Rated Packers, and it is highly recommended to use Blue 60 PU Foam for gaps above 5mm to maintain full system certification.
