Description

The FIREFLY® 50x50mm Supporting Angle is a 0.7mm gauge galvanized steel angle used to fix the perimeter of FIREFLY® flexible fire barriers to the building substrate as part of a fully tested and certified system.

The fire certification of any fire barrier system is dependent on using the correct, tested components. This supporting angle is the exact component specified and used during the rigorous BS 476 fire tests for the FIREFLY® range. Using a generic angle from a builders' merchant will invalidate the system's certification and put the compliance of your work at serious risk. By using the official FIREFLY® angle, you ensure system integrity and have clear proof that your installation meets the manufacturer's life-safety requirements, protecting your work and your reputation.

Engineered from 0.7mm gauge steel, this angle is designed to provide the necessary structural support without warping or failing under fire conditions, holding the barrier securely in place. Furthermore, it is supplied in convenient 1.2m lengths, making it far easier to transport and install in the often awkward and confined spaces where fire barriers are required, helping you complete the job efficiently.
