Rockwool Flexible Fire Barrier EN - Single Sided - 3.8m x 1m x 50mm

The ROCKWOOL Fire Barrier EN is a 50mm high-density, wire-reinforced stone wool roll designed for compartmentation within concealed voids. Rated for up to EI 120 fire resistance (integrity and insulation), this barrier offers a robust solution for preventing fire and smoke spread in roof spaces and above suspended ceilings.

Reinforced with a galvanised wire mesh, the barrier maintains structural stability under fire loads where standard mineral wool might fail. The roll format is practical for site work, offering easier handling than rigid boards when working in tight or irregular voids. It can be cut and stitched to fit around pipes, ducting, and timber trusses, minimising waste and speeding up installation.

Beyond fire protection, the dense stone wool core reduces flanking sound transmission, helping you meet Part E acoustic requirements alongside Part B compliance.
