Quelfire Intufoam Linear Gap Seal - 25-50mm Gap - 45mm width

The Quelfire Intufoam is a highly flexible, intumescent-faced foam strip engineered to reinstate the fire performance of linear gaps and movement joints in walls and floors. Designed to accommodate structural movement, it automatically expands in the event of a fire to create a solid carbonaceous char, preventing the spread of fire and smoke between compartments.

• Speed up the job: The lightweight, 1-metre lengths are entirely dry-fit and compressible by hand, meaning no specialised tools, wet sealants, or curing times are required.
• Ensure seamless sign-off: Thoroughly tested to current standards, this gap seal provides reliable, compliant compartmentation that building control officers trust.
• Eliminate movement failures: The compressible foam core easily accommodates natural building movement, reducing the risk of seal failure and costly call-backs.

The seal is tested to BS EN 1366-4 for linear gap seals, offering proven performance in both horizontal and vertical concrete joints. Depending on the substrate and installation configuration, it can provide up to EI 120 fire resistance in standard 150mm thick concrete constructions. For specific head-of-wall applications, it is also highly effective when used alongside complementary firestopping systems.
