Fire-rated door handles, like other components of fire doors, are designed to withstand high temperatures and maintain their functionality under fire conditions.

They are made from materials that can withstand elevated temperatures such as grade 304 stainless steel. They are designed not to warp, melt, or otherwise lose their structural integrity during a fire.
