The Superior drop down seal is manufactured by CCE, the company behind our best-selling Applique range.
This high-performing rebated model is designed to form an effective barrier against fire and smoke which is activated by the closing action of the door, meaning the seal only drops down when the door is closed, and self-levels on uneven surfaces.
The Superior is tested to withstand fire for up to 120 minutes, smoke tested, and has an acoustic rating of 48dB Rw.
It features an aluminium body with an extractable nylon plunger with return spring, and is endurance-tested to 200,000 cycles.
