Rockwool FirePro Acoustic Intumescent Sealant - 310ml

Rockwool FirePro® Acoustic Intumescent Sealant is a high specification acrylic sealant that is a fire stopping resource for thin linear joints and sealing penetrations that pass through fire-rated divisions.

This sealant offers up to 4 hours fire protection in joints up to 50mm in walls & floors, when installed in accordance with the relevant datasheet and supporting detail.

Designed for use in the installation of the Rockwool Ablative Coated Batt, sealing linear joints, and some individual service penetrations passing through various substrates.

Also available in a bulk pack of 25.

Can i seal around plastic sprinkler pipes that are 38mmdia

This product does not have test details for use with sprinkler pipes.

Due to the makeup of sprinkler pipes and their respective manufacturers test data, please give us a call to discuss this further.

Is this product tested and certified for use in providing 30 min to 60 min fire seal between door opening and frame with fire rated doors? If it does comply can yo forward certification / testing certs etc. Also do you you provide prices for bulk purchases.

The ROCKWOOL FIREPRO ACOUSTIC INTUMESCENT SEALANT is not Certifire approved, but has been tested via UL-EU another 3rd party testing organisation.

This product is fire rated, and all the relevant datasheets and documents can be found online in the downloads tab.

Can this be used to seal a stainless steel pipe penetration through Rockwool Isoclad FR12 to maintain 60 minute fire rating
