QuelStop Intumescent Acoustic Acrylic Sealant 600ml Foil

QuelStop Intumescent Acoustic Acrylic Sealant is a water-based intumescent acrylic used to provide a fire rated linear joint or gap seal and to maintain the fire rating of walls and floors where they have been penetrated by services as part of the QuelStop Fire Batt system or direct to the substrate.

Available as standard in white.

• Used as part of the QuelStop Fire Batt system
• Suitable for use around cables, cable bunches, cable trays, cable ladders and non-combustible pipes
• Suitable for use in flexible walls, rigid walls and floors
• Suitable for linear joints up to 50mm wide in concrete to concrete/steel/softwood
• Suitable for linear joints up to 20mm wide with gypsum board/steel headtrack
• Suitable for low movement joints and remains flexible - maximum movement capability is <7.5%
• Suitable for use around wooden fire door frames
• Up to 4 hour fire rating (EI240)

Slump: 5mm after 1 hour in 30mm joints

Shrinkage: Approximately 12%

Cure rate: 3mm per day at 50% relative 23 degrees

Application temperature: 5 degrees to 40 degrees
