FIREFLY High Temperature Adhesive

FIREFLY® High Temperature Adhesive is a single component, inorganic adhesive for bonding metals and other low absorbency materials with high temperature resistance.

Used primarily to seal penetrations to FIREFLY® Fire Barriers

Features

• Meets requirements of EN1366 & BS476, tested as a system
• Suitable for vertical and horizontal use
• Non toxic
• Up to 1100°C temperature resistance
• Fully tested for use with the FIREFLY® product range

Curing

Curing is at ambient temperature. The time will depend on particular assembly, but allow 24 hours

Packaging & Storage

• Available in 500g standard gun cartridges
• Store material in original containers only
• Store between 5°C and 25°C for maximum shelf-life
• A shelf-life of 12 months may be expected

Combustability

BS 476 PART 4: 1970
Classified as “non-combustible”
