Description

Lorient Intumescent Air Transfer Grilles are used to provide an answer to situations where ventilation is required in fire compartment walls or doors. They can be used for providing dampers in ductwork.

Features

Can be used to provide resistance to fire and hot smoke of up to 60 minutes in doors and walls
EI rating of 120 minutes when used in conjunction with a cover grille
Excellent airflow characteristics which result in silent efficient operation in normal use
Complete seal achieved in approximately five minutes when tested in accordance with BS476 Parts 20/22
Can be used with a cover grille for a neat finish and extra privacy
Allows bi-directional air flow
Simple to install
No maintenance required

Is The Lorient LVV40 Grille suitable for 60 min fire protection on a steel stud wall (300x 300 x 100mm opening) and what fixings/sealant are recommended ?

These can be used to provide up to 60 minutes resistance to fire & hot smoke. EI rating of 120 minutes when used in conjunction with a cover grille. Please review the dat sheets and fittign instructions for stud walls in the download tab on the product page.
