Ablative PS Coating is used in conjunction with Stopseal Fire Batts and Trowel Grade Ablative Mastic to form fire barriers in service openings, around mechanical and electrical services where they pass through fire compartment walls or floors.

Description

PS Coating is tested and Certified as part the FSi Fire Stopping range. When PS Coating is applied to uncoated stonewool of the correct density it can be installed across a variety services and substrates including:

Flexible and Rigid Walls
Rigid Floors
Multi-Service penetrations
Blank Openings
Head of Walls

Advantages:

Highly flexible, high performance flexible ablative coating
Can be installed onto uncoated stone wool of a minimum thickness of 50mm and a minimum density of 140kg/m³
Developed with a viscosity suitable for vertical and horizontal applications
Simple to install, through brush or trowel application
Provides smoke seal
Prevention of air leakage
Maintains acoustic performance
Manufactured and tested alongside the entire FSi Fire Stopping range in the UK
Assumed working life 25 years
