What is the Applique?
The Applique is a high performance surface mounted drop down seal designed to stop smoke and fire from passing under a fire door as well as providing an effective barrier against noise, draught, light and insects.
Crafted by Italian manufacturer CCE, this drop seal activates upon the closing action of the door, dropping down on one side before self- levelling with the floor surface, effectively closing the gap between the door and floor.
This Certifire approved seal is designed for installation on new or pre-existing fire-rated doors to ensure compliance with fire door regulations.
