Flipfix Metal Door Access Panel - Picture Frame - 600 x 600mm

A metal-faced dual-purpose access panel, supplied with the patented FlipFix fitting device for quick and secure installation.

Rated for 1-hour fire resistance, the panel must be installed using the FlipFix clamps to meet fire test requirements.

Its picture frame design provides a sleek, discreet finish.

Suitable for plasterboard wall and ceiling applications.

Testing

  • 1 Hour fire rated for integrity in a ceiling and wall application tested in accordance with BS EN1634-1: 2014

Installation Guide

  • Use the pop-out template from the packaging to mark the area, and a drywall saw to form your opening
  • Make sure the structural opening is at least 5mm larger than the panel size, back of frame size
  • Position the fixing clamps so they are facing the drywall and place the panel into the aperture
  • Using a screwdriver or drill, tighten the screws until the clamps are firmly secured
  • Lock the door in place and the frame should be flush
