A medium duty aluminium threshold plate that protects against sound, smoke, draught, light and insects when fitted with a suitable drop down seal.

This Lorient threshold plate can increase the effectiveness of threshold seals by creating a firmer gasket contact.

Can a threshold plate be used to reduce gap under door

Threshold plates provide an effective sealing surface for threshold seals to rest against, while also covering the join between different flooring materials. We would recommend using in conjunction with a drop down fire door seal to close the gap at the bottom of the fire door.
