Rockwool FirePro HES is a graphite-based, high-expansion intumescent sealant engineered to reinstate the fire resistance of flexible and rigid walls and floors where they are penetrated by combustible services. Designed for professional fire stopping, this water-based acrylic paste provides a robust, pressure-exerting seal that restores the fire rating of the compartment for up to 4 hours (EI 240).

The primary advantage of FirePro HES is its reactive high-volume expansion. Unlike standard intumescent acrylics that simply char, this graphite-rich formula expands significantly when exposed to temperatures above 135°C. This reaction generates the pressure required to crush and close the void left by melting combustible pipes (such as PVC, PE, and PP) or burning cable insulation.
