A dedicated steel installation template designed for the rapid fitting of Rutland TS.9205 door closers on the pull side (Fig. 1) of the door.

Description

The Rutland JIG.9205.PL is a precision metal installation template engineered specifically for fitting TS.9205 door closers on the pull side of the door. Designed for professional joiners and contractors, this tool replaces disposable paper templates with a rigid steel guide, ensuring the closer body and arm are positioned correctly every time.

Speed and accuracy are the core benefits of this jig. Unlike the push-side variant which clamps to the stop, the JIG.9205.PL is designed to hook directly over the top corner of the door leaf. This design automatically sets the correct vertical and horizontal alignment for a Figure 1 application. By removing the need to measure down from the head or across from the hinge, you can significantly reduce installation time across large sites.

The jig is clearly laser-engraved with Right Hand (RH) and Left Hand (LH) indicators, along with specific guides for the arm shoe location. This visual clarity ensures that even when working under pressure, the critical geometry between the closer body and the frame is maintained. The result is a smooth-operating fire door installed in a fraction of the standard time.
