The Via Type 04 is a robust single-door metal access panel featuring a surface-mounted picture frame surround. Constructed from 1.2mm Zintec steel, it provides lockable, secure access to concealed services such as valves and switches in walls or ceilings.

Lorient Intumescent Sealant
Lorient Intumescent Sealant is a high-performance acrylic mastic included to bed the access panel frame and seal the gap between the steel stop and the supporting construction. In the event of a fire, it expands to fill cavities and restrict the passage of hot smoke and fire.
Application & Benefits
- Essential compliance: Must be applied to the rear of the panel frame during installation to maintain the fire rating of the barrier.
- Excellent adhesion: Bonds aggressively to steel, plasterboard, and masonry for a secure, long-lasting seal.
